In April, Dublin Food Pantry became the latest agency to join the Mid-Ohio Farmacy program as a distribution partner, bringing better access to fresh, healthy food to pantry customers in northwest Franklin County. Food-insecure patients who get Farmacy referrals at OhioHealth Dublin Methodist Hospital (OhioHealth was onboarded as a referring partner in 2023) can now go their local pantry to shop. Studies show that fresh food access can improve health outcomes over time, and Dublin Food Pantry’s focus on produce and ability to serve customers four days a week makes it a strong new addition to the Mid-Ohio Farmacy program.
