Study Shows Mid-Ohio Farmacy Helps Customers’ Health

A recently published research study from the Journal of Operations Management shows exciting early results from Mid-Ohio Food Collective’s Farmacy program. According to the report, Mid-Ohio Farmacy can help keep some diet-related long-term health conditions from worsening with time.

Mid-Ohio Farmacy links patients to fresh food through MOFC’s pantry network. Doctors at participating health care providers can refer food-insecure, low-income patients to MOFC, and families can shop for fresh produce at certain pantries up to once a week.
