The Mid-Ohio Foodbank connects neighbors to fresh,
healthy food across 20 counties.
We’re more than a food bank—we’re part of Mid-Ohio Food Collective, working to end hunger in new ways.
Our advanced logistics system and warehouse at Mid-Ohio Foodbank made it possible to distribute more than 83 million pounds of food in 2024—about two-thirds of it fresh!

Through our network of over 600 local partners, we get fresh, healthy food to people who need it. Together, we provide enough food for 193,000 meals every day across central and eastern Ohio.
Here’s how it works: Food banks get their food from donations, grocery stores, food manufacturers, farmers, government programs, and more. They collect surplus, unsold, or donated food to distribute to people in need. A food bank works like a warehouse. The food stored there is distributed to pantries and markets.
